REDEEMING YOUR FIRST APP
We designed Loodo to be quick and simple to grab your first app. If you're reading this, you're one of the first to try it! We've put together some details below on how to try things out in order to address any questions you might have. Reach out to us if your question isn't answered here!
For this demo, we've made a "featured" selection available, but everything listed in the full catalog will be available as part of our $4.99/month subscription which grants one app download credit each month. Make sure you redeem your promo code on a game you don't already own!
HEAD TO THE STORE
Find our selection of apps at loodo.gg/redeem. Pick one from the featured list that you'd like and let us know if you already have them all!
ENTER YOUR CODE
The order cannot be completed until a promo code is entered (sent via email). "Redeem your coupon" brings up the promo entry field, then the app is free.
YOU'VE GOT MAIL
Using an iOS device (important), check your email for a download link. It may have been sent to spam. Tap the button to install your new game!
ADD TO YOUR BAG
After picking an app, select the country you're from and tap "Add to Bag". UK app versions are available for demo, but at launch we will remain US only.
PLACE (FREE) ORDER
The order submit buttons will appear after entering a code. Enter a working email and tap "Checkout" then "Place Order" to complete the process.
The app store should install your game. You may be prompted for your Apple store password or need to long-press then tap "open link" (see below).
TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Browser mismatch: If you do not use the default iOS browser (Safari), tapping the email install link may not work. This link can be copy / pasted into Safari or long-press and tap "Open link" to force open in Safari.
iTunes uninstalled: Users who have uninstalled the iTunes app may be prompted to install this prior to proceeding. Please return to the email and tap the link again after reinstalling iTunes on your device.
App unavailable: If the "add to bag" button is not showing for a featured app (like in the Step #2 screenshot above), this app may be temporarily "out of stock" - try again in a bit! We'll make sure to restock things every few hours, but have to occasionally sleep! Note: this is a demo product limitation only and will not be an issue after full launch.
